ON THE LINE is a four-part documentary shorts series chronicling four Los Angeles restaurants amidst the COVID-19 crisis, produced by Resy and award-winning new media studio Crimes of Curiosity. The series follows the owners and employees of Kensho in Hollywood, Alta Adams in West Adams, Kismet in Los Feliz, and Lasa in Chinatown as they grapple with how to keep their businesses afloat, staff employed, communities fed, and dreams alive during the pandemic, which continues to have a crushing impact on the hospitality industry.

When the pandemic shut down Los Angeles restaurants in March, Kensho was among the closures. But then, the restaurant figured out how to hire its team back by transforming into an online marketplace.
